I am sending you another letter from my terrace in Palma. This week it is number 28, ‘Long live Pikey’.  

 

Today you have the third part of Johnson’s story.  Johnson finally reaches London where he will live for the rest of his life. He makes it his city. He visited friends in the Midlands and travelled with Boswell in Scotland but from now on London was to be his permanent base.
