The poem this week is ‘Die ungezählte Geliebte’.  The title is from a short story by Heinrich Böll, in which the narrator loves a girl that he knows he will never meet.

          

 

Today we have the last episode of ‘Three Hours from Spain’:  “A table for two, ‘The Mousetrap’ and Gatwick Airport.”  Things sort themselves out in the end, and all Maria’s ideas about London have changed.
