The poem today is ‘Ashes’.  

Well, this is negative enough at the start but if we keep going, things always change.  Nil desperandum!

The letter from my terrace is about the spirit of the time, Zeitgeist, and how some embrace it and others carry on as before. It is also about some ruins in a beautiful part of the country where England and Wales shake hands across a river.
