Today's posts
With March comes the yellow
pollen on my terrace. The pine trees
here in Mallorca leave a layer of yellow dust on the cars, the roads and the houses
every year. However much the terrace is
swept in the evening, it is yellow again next day.
As every March, the
processionària are forming their long lines in the woods and on the paths here,
and I am posting the poem once more.
Today’s first poem, though, is ‘To a young
executive’. The advice is kindly
meant.
Dorigen’s story finishes today and I trust you find
the ending optimistic. I hope you
enjoyed it although narrative poems are out of fashion nowadays. Just one more
point. Where Chaucer’s
rhymes were crying out to be kept, their wishes have been respected.
