Today’s short poem is the last of the ‘Missing Home’ group.

Next Friday, 28 October, we begin the next group of poems that were originally posted a year or so ago. This will be ‘Poems about places’, and the first is ‘Lancaut’.  There will be three poems set in the country where Wales and England meet and where the River Wye marks the border. Then I will post poems, one a week, from Australia and Spain and, of course, from Somerset.

Johnson and Boswell will also continue their story every Friday, from week to week.
