Today’s poem is ‘The Lonely Student’.   Starting at university is a difficult time for many.

 

The letter from my terrace in Palma is number 20, ‘The Life of the City’.   We all make a contribution, however small, to the life of our city.

There is also chapter 6 of ‘The Tall Girl from Somerset’.  This is ‘A Journey to Manchester best forgotten´.
