The poem today is ‘To Helen’.   If you can, google Pierre de Ronsard and Yeats. Their relevant poems are known by their first lines. Ronsard’s begins ‘Quand vous serez bien vieille…’ Yeats’s is ‘When you are old and grey and full of sleep’.

We start the novel ‘The Tall Girl from Somerset’ today.  Chapter 1 is ‘A fountain pen, a computer and a car’.
