Spring came to my street
Spring
came to my street
Spring
came to my street the other day,
Without
much fuss, just a silent ray
That
fell on two children hard at play
And
warmed their backs.
So
friends help friends in a quiet way,
Without
much noise, without much show,
They
give them a hand as on they go,
And
help to get them through the day.
Nothing
said, but something done,
Like
the quiet work of the young March sun.
